How it works

How it works: you send samples, we run them on the bench and return the video, the report and the quote. It takes 2–3 business days after the samples arrive; we'll confirm the nearest free test slot in the first reply.

Six conditions that decide whether a defect gets caught

We break every task down along these six points — and the same six show right away which one will be hard. Hard doesn't mean unsolvable. It means: test first, money later.

Line speed

The camera has to keep up with your line — not the line wait for the camera. So we pick the camera and light for your real speed: the shot takes milliseconds, and the verdict on a part is ready before the next one arrives.

Glare

Glare is inspection's main enemy and its tool at the same time. You can kill it with filters — or aim it so it highlights the defect itself, like in the steel drum case. Shop lighting plays no role here: the station brings its own light.

Steam, dust and washdown

For wet and dusty zones the camera gets a protective housing, the optics get an air purge, and food-grade sanitary requirements are built into the design from the start — not "we'll figure something out later".

Parts are never identical

Real parts always differ slightly, and the camera has to tell that normal variation from a defect. That's the first thing we verify in the test.

Borderline rejects

How strict the inspection is — that's your call. A tighter threshold means more caution and more false rejects; a softer one means a higher risk of letting a defect through. We show what each option gives, and the final word stays with your QC.

What to do with a caught reject

The camera can call the operator, stop the section, or remove the defective part from the line itself — whichever way your plant works.

The line removes rejects itself

Camera, lighting, controller and a reject mechanism. Good parts travel on, rejects leave the line on their own — the operator only deals with what's been pulled. This is the level of the "ready meals" and "foundry" cases.

From a box of samples to a working station

  1. Samples.

    Start with photos of good and defective parts. If a bench test is needed, we'll confirm the sample quantity, shipping address, courier and customs details before you dispatch anything.

  2. Test and report.

    We run the samples on the bench and return the test video, the engineering report and a preliminary quote. It takes 2–3 business days after the samples arrive.

  3. Pilot on your line.

    The equipment runs at your site — at real speed, on real parts. This is where we tune inspection strictness together with your QC. The “it worked on the demo, but will it work here?” concern gets resolved exactly at this step — before you buy.

  4. Launch.

    Installation, commissioning, training for your shift. We wire the station into the line and your systems — from the operator alert to the ERP record.

FAQ

How long does the test take, and what should I send?

The test takes 2–3 business days after the samples reach us. Send a few good parts and a few defective ones. If shipping samples is a hassle right now, we'll start from photos and give a preliminary verdict from them.

What if the defect can't be caught?

Then the report will say "not solvable with a camera" or "solvable, but costs more than the problem" — with the reasoning why. You save the budget; we save the time on a project that would have ended in mutual disappointment.

How many false rejects will there be?

That's tuned during the pilot together with your QC. A tighter threshold — more caution; a softer one — more risk. Where to draw the line is your decision; we show what each option gives.

The product changes — is every changeover a paid re-tune?

No. Product variants live in the system as ready "recipes", and your line lead can switch between them — we teach that at launch. Our visit is only needed when a genuinely new task appears.

What are the delivery times?

Popular cameras, lights and readers are factory stock: for in-stock items, about two weeks by air is typical. Rare items are made to order, and then the date is fixed in the quote. The exact timing for your bill of materials will be in the preliminary quote — it takes 1 day.

Who will call me after the request?

A vision engineer. Not a sales team, not a script. And if you chose "message me" — we'll message, not call.

Will the line have to stop?

Not for the test: it runs at our bench, on your samples. For the pilot we fit the installation into your maintenance window — scheduled around production.

Where should we send the breakdown of your task?

Send samples or photos — we'll return the test video, the engineering report, a preliminary quote and both checklists. Within 2–3 business days after the samples arrive. If a camera can't solve the task, you'll be the first to know — for free.
